Grant Victor joined Caltech Baseball as Assistant Coach, making his collegiate coaching debut with the Beavers in the 2023 season.
"I'm super excited to coach and to be on the other side of things," Victor said. "It's been awesome so far."
A local product, Victor attended St. Francis High School in nearby La Cañada. He attended East Los Angeles College and Cal State Stanislaus until the coronavirus pandemic forced the cancellation of the 2020 season. He finished his undergraduate studies and his collegiate baseball playing career at Central Methodist University, winning a Gold Glove and propelling his team to the NAIA World Series. In the summers between school years, Victor kept his baseball skills sharp playing collegiate summer baseball in Southern California as well as with an academy in the Dominican Republic, where he said it was a thrill to be part of that culture and playing in the home of some of the world's best baseball talents.
