Completed a data analysis internship at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the Office of Digital Transformation, where she created a usage dashboard for the FDA Library Services... Earned the AWS Cloud Practitioner Certificate... Served as a 2022 Data Analyst Intern for the Ohio State University, where she conducted research under the guidance Dr. Motao Zhu (MD, MS, PhD); with the increased use of marijuana among teenagers, worked to identify the most significant factors associated with marijuana usage over time; using the CDC’s Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System (YRBS), fit survey-weighted multivariable logistic regression models for the years of 1991, 2001, 2011, and 2019... Served as a 2020-2021 Student Researcher for the National Graphene Research and Development Center Summer Research Program, where under the guidance of Xuan Luo, conducted the first assessment of transition metal doped WSe2 as potential photocatalysts for photocatalytic water splitting; used first principles calculations to evaluate the band gaps and other photocatalytic abilities of pristine WSe2 as well as Cr, Mo, Ta, and Re doped WSe2.

Chose Caltech because of the perfect balance between athletics and academics... Appreciated the incredible opportunity to both play collegiate volleyball with such a close-knit, supportive team as well as receive a world-renowned education with acclaimed professors and like-minded peers... Favorite part about Caltech is the kindness that everyone displays... Thanks to the house system and close-knit environment, always receives a willingness to help, no matter the circumstance, and appreciates that this supportive atmosphere allows her to build meaningful connections with classmates, upperclassmen, TAs and professors... In free time, enjoys baking cakes, pies, tarts, cookies and other treats... Also likes solving logic puzzles.
