Research and STEM Activities
Completed Natural Language Processing based research on Borderline Personality Disorder that was published in the National High School Journal of Science... Also served as a Teacher's Assistant for an Algebra I class while tutoring many other kids in math and physics... Has worked as a summer intern at Engine, an omni analytics and data science firm... Additionally, as a senior thesis project, created a literature analysis based web app for Homer’s The Odyssey.
Prior to Caltech
Academic Honors: National Merit Finalist... Attended the West Point Summer Leadership Experience and was awarded for Excellence in Leadership and Ethics... MacGregor Award winner (awarded to one junior annually at Thaden School for determination and excellence in academics).
Athletic Honors: Volleyball: 2x All-State Recipient... 4x All-Conference Recipient... Team Captain for junior and senior seasons... 2x Team MVP... 2x All-State Tournament Team Recipient... 2x Offensive MVP. Track and Field: Member of the 2x 4x800m State Champs in Track and Field... Three time All-Conference in Track and Field.
