Research and STEM Activities
Internship at Innovaccer in San Francisco (machine learning for streamlining healthcare), built language model observability and optimization frameworks... Worked with Dr. Frederick Eberhardt and Dr. Ralph Adolphs on an algorithm development project aimed at mapping the causality between brain lesions and psychological and performative deficiencies... Conducted three summers of research with professors from Caltech during high school, serving as co-author in J. Davy Kirkpatrick's 2020 paper and worked with Dr. Mike Brown (Summer 2021) and Dr. Vandana Desai (Summer 2022).

Athletic Honors: Water Polo: Team MVP (2021-2022, 2022-2023); All-League Second Team (2021-2022)... Swim: 2022 CIF finalist (4x100 freestyle relay); Pacific League 100 backstroke champion (2022-2023); 2023 CIF finalist (100 backstroke, 4x100 freestyle relay).
Personal
Chose Caltech because he enjoyed his summer research experiences and wanted to go to a university that would provide lots of such opportunities... Favorite part about Caltech is the people, the collaborative environment and the many opportunities the school provides... Likes being a Caltech athlete because he is able to play a sport he enjoys at a high level and because it serves as an outlet when things get stressful... Plays piano and chess... Hobbies include skiing, building PCs, cooking and recreational swimming.
