Research and STEM activities 
Developed a novel 3D printed soccer insole to improve mechanics and increase performance during high intensity agility movements. Tested the insoles with pressure sensors at Dr. Robin Queen's Virginia Tech Granata Biomechanics Lab. Completed a paper and multiple presentations, discussing the potential for the  insole to provide a low-cost, customizable and high performance option for soccer players, winning multiple science fair awards... Second summer interning with Dr. Shengfeng Cheng's Computational Physics group at Virginia Tech. I have thus far conducted a literature review of the non-equilibrium dynamics of water in wood, developed simulation code that teaches physics concepts to high school students, and  developed demonstrations to teach high school students about surface tension and evaporation.
