Biography

Research and STEM Activities:

Completed computational psychology research at Yale... Worked on two research projects with research groups at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, working with Professor Victor Lubecker and Mr. Mahmud Islam on creating a noise-canceling system that would allow a moving drone to measure respiration with Doppler radar; contributed by creating the adaptive filter and running it on code-generated and experimentally recorded radar signals... With Professor Yao Zheng and Mr. Khaldoon Ishmael, worked on project focused on creating a WiFi-card based system that used Doppler radar to measure respiratory rate for COVID-19 screening purposes; contributed by writing the algorithm that processed the radar measurements to extract the breathing rate.
