Research and STEM Activities
Partook in a multi-disciplinary, national research study called the Systematic Observation of Mask Adherence and Distancing (SOMAD) through California State University, Fresno's chapter, where she collected data and completed inter-rater reliability checks in an effort to collect generalizable data that could be used to help prevent coronavirus outbreaks both locally and nationally; worked closely with the Principal Investigator and joined the research team, and co-presented the study to members of the Fresno State community; observations aided the national study in making informed decisions on how to protect communities and decrease the spread of COVID-19.

Personal
Chose Caltech because of many reasons, some of which include the core curriculum, the multitude of opportunities for research (including SURF), and the collaborative learning environment.Â
