Completed a summer internship (Physics 11 Scholarship) with the NuSTAR Group at Caltech, where he studied x-ray spectra from black holes to identify spectral features and detect ultrafast outflows (UFOs); also extracted physical parameters of the UFOs using physical models... Completed a summer internship in 2021 at the Laboratory of Laser Energetics (LLE), Univ. of Rochester... Was a project assistant at the Laboratory of Laser Energetics (LLE), University of Rochester in 2020.

Prior to Caltech

Academic Honors: Recipient of the 2021 Schreiner STEM Merit Scholarship for outstanding STEM achievements, the 2021 NY State Scholarship for excellence and outstanding academic accomplishments, the 2021 NY State Section V Athletic scholarship for excellence in athletics and academics, the 2020 Rensselaer Medal for outstanding academic achievement, the 2020 Bronze medal National Spanish Exam, and was a 2021 National Honor Society member.

Athletic Honors: Winner Section V Class B Doubles 2021, Awarded the Lawrence A. Miller USTA Eastern B16s sportsmanship award in February 2020, Winner of the Buffalo City Open Mixed Doubles Championship in 2021, Winner of the $1K Central New York Men’s Open Doubles Championship in 2020, Winner of the Buffalo City Open Mixed Doubles Championship in 2020, Captain of the varsity tennis team, 4-time letter winner in tennis, 3-time First Team All Greater Rochester.
