Research and STEM Activities
Conducted a study about the effects of sports specialization on the perceived levels of stress on student-athletes; finding that specialized athletes had, on average, higher levels of perceived stress than multi-sport and nonathletes.

Academic Honors: IHSA Academic All State, Lane Scholar, AP Scholar with Distinction, Wendy's Heisman Finalist.
Athletic Honors: Under Armor Preseason All-American, Captain of the varsity baseball team, Under Armor All-Region player, PBR All-State pitcher.
Personal
Son of Benjamin and Linda... Older brother to Megan and Nathan... Younger brother to Matthew... Plays chess... Works as the Fleming House librarian... Chose Caltech because it was a great fit academically and because of the opportunity to play baseball... Enjoys Caltech because of the housing system... Favorite part about being a Caltech athlete is the support of the other athletes.
