Daymarcco Green

Daymarcco Green joined the Caltech’s women’s basketball staff prior to the 2022-23 season. Alongside first-year head coach Annie Tarakchian, Green helped lead the team to one of its most accomplished seasons in school history in just his first year at the university.

Green comes to Caltech following a stint as a women’s basketball graduate assistant at Doane College. Prior to his time at Doane, Green played basketball on scholarship at Mayville State University, where he graduated in 2019. There, he played on two conference tournament championship teams and served as captain his senior season.

Prior to Mayville State, Green played basketball at Mira Costa College, where he was named team MVP and earned all-conference honors.

Green has also served on the coaching staff at Lakeside High School, where he was head freshman coach as well as assistant varsity coach. There, he helped the varsity team to its first regional CIF championship in school history.

Additionally, Green has helped train his younger sister in basketball, who went on to earn a scholarship to play at UC Berkeley.
