Dennis Ko

Dennis Ko made his return as a volunteer assistant coach with the women's basketball team in 2019 after serving as an assistant for three years between 2014 and 2017. He is involved with recruiting, film exchange, preparing scouting reports and film breakdown. In addition, he works primarily with the guards on individual player development.

Raised in nearby Arcadia, Calif., Ko currently a graduate student at Caltech pursuing his PhD in chemical engineering under the supervision of Professor Julie Kornfield. His research focuses on sustained drug delivery to the cornea to treat chronic dry eye. He has been awarded the National Science Foundation's Graduate Research Fellowship.

He earned his bachelor's degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University in 2009. He went on to earn a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Caltech in 2012.
