Danielle Jones

Danielle Jones, recently elevated to the role of Assistant Coach, has been coaching youth & high school soccer nearly a decade. An avid player and student of the game, before joining the Caltech staff as a Volunteer Assistant Coach, she coached South Pasadena High's girls' soccer program where she assisted both Varsity and JV programs in 2018.  That same year, she played for the USL semi professional team SoCal Crush in its first year of inception.

A graduate from Sonoma State University in 2016, Jones earned a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Coaching Education.  A member of the women's soccer program from 2013-2016, she was sidelined her senior year due to an ACL injury. She began her collegiate career playing for San Bernardino Valley College in 2007 where she earned First-Team All-Conference both seasons. Known for her attacking prowess and vision for the game, she attributes her coaching style and career path largely to her mentor, Grace Cooper, Head Coach of Chaffey College.
