Participated in GeneLab for High Schools through the NASA Ames Research Center under advisors Dr. Sigrid Reinsch and Dr. Elizabeth Blaber... Completed a NASA Space Biosciences Project, in which she conduct RNASeq and fluorescence analysis of the response of ERF2 and ERF104 in Arabidopsis thaliana under Simulated Altered Gravity... Presented computational biology research at American Society for Gravitational Space Research conference in Houston, Texas... Completed the STEM to SHTEM program as part of the Stanford Electrical Engineering Palo Alto City Project, in which she reverse-engineered surveillance capitalism by simulating dynamic e-commerce experience to evoke responses to data collection in digital spaces... Worked at the Los Angeles Behavioral Economics Laboratory at USC, where she isolated effects of genetic/environmental factors on cognitive ability; studied correlatations between brain activity and experimental decision-making... Worked on a project through the Lustig Group and Biochemistry Department at San Jose State University, focusing on predictive modeling of protein switches from base sequences using secondary structures as ground truth.
