Currently doing research at Daraio Lab, where she is developing a polymer that acts as a thin, flexible, and highly responsive temperature sensor using electrical impedance tomography... I also have helped redesign the electronics of the liquid engine test stand for Caltech's rocketry club PARSEC, allowing us to execute multiple engine hotfires... Built an exoskeleton for single-leg paralysis with novel hands-free control... Presented poster on exoskeleton research at the Northwest Biomechanics Symposium at University of Oregon... Built a motion capture device with wearable sensors for conducting virtual physiotherapy exercises... Student Researcher at a Simon Fraser University lab helping to build a device to estimate wrist use in stroke patients

Chose Caltech because of its unparalleled opportunities for research and the fact that everyone knows everyone... loves softball, thrifting, collecting CDs, and working on the pottery wheel... Appreciates that being a student-athlete gives her something other than academics to focus a portion of her time on.
