Biography
Why I chose Caltech:
I chose Caltech because I wanted to challenge myself and be around people who push me to be better. I want to better myself as a researcher, student and athlete to prepare myself for work in the medical field where I hope to continue to pursue a passion for Neuroscience.Â
Research and STEM Activities:
Currently developing a deodorant brand "with a variety of skin tones available to meet the needs of our diverse population"...Publishing a comic book aiming to spread awareness of the pandemic and vaccinations to younger generations.Â
Worked as a research assistant studying brain cancer in children at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada.Â
Before Caltech:
Academics: Honors in several Waterloo math contests.
Athletics: 2nd in OFSAA tennis doubles...13th in OFSAA cross country and track and field...top 20 in Canadian Junior Nationals (Tennis).
Personal:
Daughter of Ananuku Kolar and Ohad Benchetrit...has one younger brother, Cadence.
