Conducted biomedical research on aging, sleep, and neurological disease through internships at the University of Kansas Medical Center and the Kansas City Veterans Administration Medical Center, applying molecular biology and clinical research techniques... Co-Authored research presented at national conferences, including a finalist poster at the SOCRA Annual Conference and abstracts accepted by the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers Annual Meeting and the Gerontological Society of America (GSA) 2026 Annual Meeting, with projects investigating microRNA biomarkers of frailty in people with multiple sclerosis and the feasibility of blue light therapy to improve sleep quality in veterans.
