Biography
Research and STEM Activities:
Shadowed a surgeon who performed treatment for endometriosis and a hysterectomy using new robotic surgical devices... Assisted a teacher in creating and testing wet labs, tests and quizzes; also organized cell slides, constructed microscopes and explored the new Anatomage... Volunteered at local medical clinic where she observed patient treatment, organized medical supplies and provided patients with ice packs and water.
Prior to Caltech:
Academic Honors: National Honor Society, Student of the Month, 4.0 grade-point-average.
Athletic Honors: Athlete of the Month (2021 and 2022), Most Valuable Player, First Team All-Conference, First Team All-League, Most Inspirataional, Eagle Award.
Personal:
Chose Caltech because of the academic rigor, research opportunities, unique learning environment and athletic opportunities... Likes swimming, rock climbing, reading, traveling and anything medical... Enjoys volunteering for TIP, the trauma intervention program for which she is a part.
