Research and STEM Activities
Sotware Engineer internship at Netflix....Interned at SpaceX, specifically working on Starlink Direct-to-Cell Satellites (software side)... Began research on leveraging machine learning to detect misinformation on social media... Worked to build two mobile applications that help create a safer, easier and more convenient flight environment for pilots in his flight community; one application focuses on easily calculating engine takeoff performance to help pilots determine which airports they can and cannot take off and land at based on current conditions; the second application gives a smoke forecast on the west coast, helping pilots to avoid smoke from fires and the decreased visibility that comes with them.

Son of Xavier and Beatrice... Has one younger brother, Matthias... Favorite part about Caltech is the community, which is tight knit, and the people, who are driven... "The students are given excellent opportunities to learn about advanced technical subjects they are interested in and participate in high quality research/projects." ... Likes beng a Caltech athlete because it 1) provides a group of best friends (the team) which he can always look to for support and spend quality time with, and 2) it serves as an escape from school where he can enjoy something he is passionate about... In free time, enjoys being an unpredictable poker player while playing with friends... Resells sneakers for a profit... Plays chess.
