Biography
Research and STEM Activities
Worked as a technical intern at CERN, contributing to the Worldwide LHC Computing Grid (WLCG) on projects related to identity and access management and application security. Trained and optimized Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) to denoise three-dimensional images of bacterial biofilms with Georgia Squyres at the Newman Lab. Named to the 2024-25 Academic All-District At-Large Team.
Prior to Caltech
Academic Honors: Letter of Commendation Honors (2016, 2018)... Awarded prize for Best in Computer Science 2022... Silver medal in British Physics Olympiad and Silver Medal in United Kingdom Maths Challenge 2021.
Athletic Honors: With school team, competed regionally in cross country and field hockey; competed nationally in netball (placed 12th) and water polo (placed 4th) where she captained the team for the last 3 years... NHEHS Senior Water polo Player of the Year winner for 3 years... With Otters Water Polo Club, placed 3rd in the National Age Group competition and won undefeated in the division in the British Water Polo League... Competed regionally at club netball (winning the regional league) and water polo (placing 4th) with the London Sharks Team.
Personal
Daughter of Dan and Gordana... Sister to Tara and Luka... Played the violin from the age of 5 and achieved grade 6 at 11 years old... Chose Caltech because of the close-knit community of like-minded people that want to help one another at accomplishing their goals.
