Coach Moser and the boys have "converged" on the Claremont Convergence Tourney and
played Friday at Las Floras Park (home of the La Verne
Leopards) in a multi-team water polo event. Caltech took on
Division II Gannon University (PA) in the morning falling to
the Golden Knights by a score of 17-3. "We played our best
game of the season this morning, this is one of the fastest teams
we have ever player" commented head coach, Josh Moser. The
Beavers then took on another visitor from the Keystone State
in the afternoon and after getting out to a 5-0 lead battled
the Lions of Penn State-Behrend to a heartbreaking 13-12
loss.
Caltech has now played only 3 official games on the
young 2009 campaign and are making major strides as they
improve in every outing. The Beavers will host Connecticut
College and Chapman University on Sunday, October 11th for their
next competition.
GO TECH!!!
