PASADENA, Calif. – Eleven different players scored a goal
for LaVerne as they downed Caltech 21-7 in men's water polo
action at the Braun Pool Wednesday afternoon.
Leading the scoring effort for the visitors was Alan Navarez who
scored a team high four goals, all of which came in the second
half. Mark Wilson and Kyle Yasui each posted a hat trick on a cool,
overcast and drizzly day.
LaVerne (5-14, 1-1 SCIAC) scored six of the eight goals in the
opening period before continuing their efforts in the second
quarter as they took an 11-3 lead at halftime and never looked
back.

Blackwood led the offensive effort for Caltech (0-15, 0-2
SCIAC) scoring five goals. Tim MacDonald
and Adam Kahn each tallied a goal for the home squad.
