THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (Oct. 29, 2016) – Senior Chris Bradley (Half Moon Bay, Calif. / Junipero Serra) scored his 18th hat trick in a 18-6 Caltech men's water polo loss at DIII Nov. 5 Cal Lutheran University on Saturday afternoon.

Cal Lutheran took the early lead in the first quarter and held onto it for the remainder of the game.  The Beavers went into the half down 10-2, but after being shut out in the third quarter, Caltech fired back in the fourth to outscore CLU, 4-2, over the final period.

A trio of Beavers found the back of the net along with Bradley as sophomores Charles Ross (Wexford, Pa. / North Allegheny) and Eshan Govil (Redwood City, Calif. / Sacred Heart Prep) and freshman Bradley Justice (El Cajon, Calif. / Grossmont) each scored once.  Sophomore Shaurya Gilani (Chicago, Ill. / Adlai Stevenson) had another solid game in goal with 12 saves.

Head Coach Jon Bonafede and the Beavers host DIII T-No. 8 University of La Verne (4-16, 2-3) on Wednesday, Nov. 2.
