Csaposs Adds Four Against Cal Lutheran

Box Score

PASADENA (Oct. 17, 2017) – Freshman Steven Csaposs (Davis, Calif. / Davis) continued an impressive scoring run by contributing four more goals against visiting California Lutheran University on Tuesday.

Csaposs was once again the Beavers' most effective two-way player, drawing two exclusions without receiving an exclusion in addition to coming up with two steals. His 10 shots also led the team. Notably, fellow freshman Alex Janosi (Ann Arbor, Mich. / Dexter) also contributed by going four-for-four on sprints to go with one goal and one assist. The goal stood out, as Janosi hooked the shot behind his back and skipped off the water to befuddle the Kingsmen keeper. The Beavers scored their final three goals in the fourth period.

Caltech goalie Bradley Justice (El Cajon, Calif. / Grossmont) took on a lot of volume from the Kingsmen, but was aggressive in net with six saves and four steals.

Head Coach Jon Bonafede and the Beavers will be back at Braun Pool on Thursday, Oct. 18 to face off with Pomona-Pitzer Colleges at 7 p.m.
