Caltech Men's Soccer Tallies Last-Minute Goal vs. Redlands

Caltech Men's Soccer faced Redlands on the road Wednesday in a thrilling matchup involving a last-minute goal from the Beavers.  

Senior Ishaan Mantripragada (Saratoga, Calif. / Harker School) scored the Caltech goal in the 90th minute with just seconds to spare in the match. Sophomore Mathew Luk (Bel Air, Md. / C. Milton Wright) sent a ball down the left flank. Mantripragada ran onto it and using his left foot from outside the penalty area, chipped it over the outstretched arms of the diving keeper. 

Caltech remains in contention for a potential postseason berth. Its four wins are tied for the most amongst SCIAC teams.  

The Beavers travel to Thousand Oaks to face Cal Lutheran Saturday, Oct. 25 at 1:00 p.m.
