Caltech demonstrated a balanced offense in a rivalry bout against the Occidental Tigers at Braun Gymnasium in Pasadena Saturday.
Five Beavers had at least 10 points for Caltech on Saturday. Senior guard Noah Hicks (Oxford, Ga. / George Walton Academy) led the team with 15 points, going 6-8 from the field and 2-3 from beyond the arc in 27 minutes.
Caltech saw promising contributions from its first-year players on Saturday. First-year Ryan Rodrigue (San Diego, Calif. / Santa Fe Christian) was 5-7 from the field for his 13 points while adding two steals on defense. First-years Finnegan Fancher (Ventura, Calif. / Ventura High School) and Dorian Glogovac (Vancouver, B.C. / St. George's School Vancouver) each scored 10 points. Glogovac also led the team with seven rebounds.
Sophomore Chase Williamson (McDonough, Ga. / Union Grove) demonstrated his versatile skill set on Saturday, putting up 10 points to go along with a steal and block defensively.
Caltech travels to Lancaster, Calif. To face West Coast Baptist Thursday, Nov. 13 at 7:00 p.m.
