The individuals receiving this honor are as follows:
Â
Aditya Bhagavathi '16
Men's Cross Country, Track & Field
Aditya Bhagavathi has represented the Beavers on the track, on the trails, and on the national stage. He is a two-time Cross Country All-SCIAC winner, earning a First Team honor as a senior finishing fourth overall at the SCIAC Championship after earning Second Team in his junior year. A two-time NCAA Cross Country National Championship qualifier, his 8K time of 25:34.7 through cold and muddy conditions at the 2014 national meet in Mason, Ohio holds as the fifth-fastest finish in the Caltech record books.
In Track & Field, Bhagavathi was the SCIAC Champion in the 5000 meters event at the 2015 conference championships. 10 years after he graduated, Bhagavathi still holds the fourth-fastest Caltech men's 5000 meters time in program history. He finished in 14:44.66 in 2015, becoming just the second Caltech Men's Track & Field student-athlete ever to break the 15-minute barrier. Bhagavathi also holds the sixth fastest 1500 meters (3:59.41) and 3000 meters times in our men's program's history.
In addition to his all-conference recognitions and Caltech records, Bhagavathi was named to the All-Region Team by US Track and Field in 2014 and 2015. Â

James Blackwood '16
Men's Water Polo
Blackwood is the sole representative of Caltech Men's Water Polo to be inducted into the Hall of Honor 2024-25 class.
Though he graduated in 2016, he still holds an incredible three program records in the sport. In 2015 he set the program record for single-season assists with 53 and in a game with six, the latter value tying a record set by Adam Kham. Blackwood amassed 155 assists in his Caltech career, still the most by any Beaver. Â
Â
Jennifer Haase '85
Women's Cross Country
Haase is one of three 2025 inductees representing Caltech Cross Country and one of three women in this year's class.
In 1984-85, she finished in the top three runners in the 5k four times. She also finished 8th out of 54 runners at NCAA Regionals with a time of 18:58.5 in an era when the 19-minute 5k separated elite runners from the rest of the pack.
She was a First Team All-SCIAC selection in that season along with being named the team MVP. Â
Â
Teri Juarez '12
Women's Basketball, Volleyball
In 2011-2012 Jaurez led Caltech Women's Basketball with an incredible 208 total rebounds; none of her teammates had more than 99. She had over twice as many offensive rebounds and more than twice as many defensive rebounds than any other Beaver player. That year, Juarez was also second on the team in total points and field goal percentage. She led the 2011-12 team in assists with 36.Â
Juarez was top-five in career rebounds on the program leader board at the time of her graduation. She won the Caltech Female Athlete of the Year twice, and a profile of her was featured in Sports Illustrated in 2013. Â
Juarez was a key offensive piece for Caltech Volleyball, ranking 10th all-time in program history for career attacks at the time of her induction. Â
Â
Dan Kleiman '98
Men's Cross Country, Track & Field
In 1996 Dan Kleiman was named the SCIAC Men's Runner of the Year in cross country.
Between his two sports, he made First Team All-SCIAC five times. In 1996-97, he was named the Caltech Men's Athlete of the Year. Earlier that year, he became the fourth man from Caltech ever to win the SCIAC championship in cross country. He crossed the line before any of the other 78 runners with a time of 25:50. That race accounted for just one of his three top-five finishes at SCIAC Championships in cross country. Â
Â
Brian Penserini '13
Baseball, Water Polo, Swim & Dive
One of two three-sport athletes in this year's class Hall of Honor class, Penserini was a one-time Caltech record holder for most hits in a season.
In 2011-12 he hit a remarkable .430 through 93 at-bats, ranking second in SCIAC in that category. By the time he graduated in 2013, he had become one of the greatest hitters ever to grace Caltech's North Field.  Â
He was named the Caltech Male Athlete of the Year in both 2012 and 2013.
Â
Lisa Yee '10
Women's Basketball, Volleyball, Track & Field
Given her remarkable achievements in basketball rebounding, volleyball blocks, and high Jump, Yee may be the greatest all-around jumper in the history of Caltech athletics. She is certainly the greatest rebounder the Caltech Women's Basketball team has ever seen; 15 years after graduating, Yee still holds the program records for career rebounds (793) and rebounds in a season (273). Â
On the volleyball court, in 2009, Yee had six total solo blocks in a match, tying her teammate that year, Katie Peters, for the most by a Beaver in program history, making Yee one of the very few Beavers with program records in multiple sports besides Cross Country and Track & Field. That said, Yee's 4'4" high jump remains the eighth highest in program history. Her 95'6" javelin throw in 2010 was the eighth-best in program history as of 2025. Â
