INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA announced today the participants in the 2026 Division III Track & Field National Championships, selecting senior Luke Lamitina (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Winchester Thurston) to compete in the javelin throw event.

Lamitina has consistently improved since joining Caltech Track & Field as a junior, shattering Caltech program records en route to earning an individual SCIAC Champion title in the javelin throw at this year's conference championships. His personal record of 67.57 meters is the third-longest throw in all of NCAA Division III this year.

The national championships will take place May 21-23 in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Find more information about the championships on the NCAA website.
