PASADENA, Calif. - For the second consecutive day the Caltech men's tennis squad played a nationally ranked opponent with the same result.
A day after falling to 27th ranked team in the country (Whittier), the Beavers lost an 8-1 decision to No. 8 Pomona-Pitzer on Saturday afternoon.
Caltech's No. 1 doubles duo of Devashish Joshi and Luka Mernik recorded an 8-6 win over Drew Cohn and Joey DeBruin.
Next Friday afternoon the Beavers close their regular season against another nationally ranked foe when they take on No. 6 UC Santa Cruz.
