CLAREMONT, Calif. -- The seventh ranked Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's tennis team knocked off Caltech 9-0 on Friday afternoon in a SCIAC match-up at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center.

Rebekah Kitto faced-off against the top ranked player in the region. Kristin Lim posted a 6-1, 6-3 win at the top singles match. At the No. 6 singles spot Michelle Tang dropped tight three-set match. After dropping the first set, Tang fought back with a second set win before losing a tough two-point decision in the third-set super tiebreak.

Caltech has the next week off before facing off against Sewanee on March 17.
