INDIANS WELLS, CA - An evenly played match went George Fox's way as the Bruins pulled out a 5-4 win over Caltech on Saturday afternoon.

The team's split the six singles matches but George Fox was able to claim victory in two of the three doubles matches.

Caltech No. 1 doubles team of Deashish Joshi and Luka Mernik won 8-6 but the Bruins responded with wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles slots.

Sathwick and Ruthwick Pathireddy won in straight sets during their singles matches in straight sets at third and fourth spots. Mernik completed his undefeated day with a hard fought 7-5, 1-6, 11-9 win at the fifth position.

George Fox's top two singles players, Justin McClain and Chris Lilley, won their matches in straight sets. Nick Granton's 6-4, 3-6, 10-5 win over Morgan Lebby at the No. 6 singles match was a critical win as the Bruins won the team match.

The Beaver complete their three-match set in the desert with a Sunday afternoon match against Hardin-Simmons.
