Women's Soccer Improves Against Pomona-Pitzer

Box Score

PASADENA (Oct. 6, 2018) – The Caltech women's soccer team fared better in its second meeting with Pomona-Pitzer Colleges on Saturday afternoon, decreasing the goal differential by two.

Sophomore goalkeeper Kali Drango (Lake Oswego, Ore. / Lake Oswego) had a strong outing in net with nine saves. The Beavers also saw a great chance to get on the board in the second half, when junior forward Noelle Davis (Fort Worth, Texas / Texas Acad. of Math & Science) took a pass from sophomore midfielder Krystin Brown (Lake Forest, Calif. / Trabuco Hills) and caught the opposing goalkeeper out of position with a roller to the right side of the net. Senior midfielder Michelle Marasigan (Elk Grove Village, Ill. / James B. Conant) had Caltech's only shot on net.

Head Coach Taylor Houck and the Beavers will be back in action on Wednesday, Oct. 10 when they travel to California Lutheran University for a 7 p.m. game.
