PASADENA (Sept. 22, 2018) – The Caltech women's soccer team competed with visiting Occidental College at home on Saturday afternoon. 

The Beavers held the Tigers to just one goal in the second half and sophomore goalkeeper Kali Drango (Lake Oswego, Ore. / Lake Oswego) made eight stops between the pipes. Caltech's greatest offensive moment came in the 81st minute when freshman Zoe Rock (Chappaqua, N.Y. / Horace Greeley) fired a shot from roughly 20 yards out that ricocheted off the crossbar. Sophomore Krystin Brown (Lake Forest, Calif. / Trabuco Hills) had Caltech's other shot in the first half.

Head Coach Taylor Houck and the Beavers will have the week to train before heading to the University of La Verne on Saturday, Sept. 29.
