Women's Soccer Blanks La Verne in Second Half

Box Score

LA VERNE, Calif. (Sept. 29, 2018) – The Caltech women's soccer team held the University of La Verne scoreless in the second half of Saturday evening's SCIAC contest.

The Caltech defense, led in the middle by sophomore Nayla Abney (Sewell, N.J. / Deptford Township) and freshman Schuyler Dick (Hudson, Ohio / Walsh Jesuit)  limited the Leopards' shots on goal, clearing traffic in front of sophomore goalkeeper Kali Drango (Lake Oswego, Ore. / Lake Oswego). Drango finished the game with one save while facing just three shots on net.

Head Coach Taylor Houck and the Beavers will return at home on Wednesday, Oct. 3 when they host Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges at 4 p.m.
