Drango Stops Seven at Pomona-Pitzer

CLAREMONT, Calif. (Sept. 5, 2018) – Sophomore goalkeeper Kali Drango (Lake Oswego, Ore. / Lake Oswego) picked up seven saves over the full 90 minutes for the Caltech women's soccer team at Pomona-Pitzer Colleges. Wednesday marked the team's first official SCIAC game in program history.

Sophomore Krystin Brown (Lake Forest, Calif. / Trabuco Hills) had both of the Beavers' shots on the day, one of which found its way to the net. The midfielder's shot-on-goal came in the 44th minute of the first half, the last play before the whistle blew.

Head Coach Taylor Houck and the Beavers will return to North Field on Saturday, Sept. 8 to host defending SCIAC champion No. 19 California Lutheran University at 11 a.m.
