SAN MARCOS, Calif. – Junior
Joey Litvin ran in the Men's 10,000 meters Friday night in the Mangrum Invitational, hosted by California State University, San Marcos, finishing in the second-fastest time in Caltech history.
As the sole Beaver at the meet, Litvin packed in with 20 other runners representing as high as NCAA Division I and finished in 31:16.27, just two seconds behind the school record, beating his personal record and now ranking above Dan Kleiman, who posted a 31:30.24 finish back in 1997.
Excelling in long-distance races, Litvin previously represented Caltech Men's Cross Country at the NCAA National Championships this past fall.
