McCandless, Wen, Srinivasan, Zabelo Named to Academic All-District Men's Tennis Team

GREENWOOD, Ind. — College Sports Communicators (CSC) released its 2023-24 Academic All-District Men's Tennis Team on Tuesday morning, naming four Beavers among the selections.

Seniors Kyle McCandless (Lexington, Mass. / Lexington) and Daniel Wen (McLean, Va. / Thomas Jefferson HS for Science & Technology) along with junior Aditya Srinivasan (Rochester, N.Y. / Pittsford Sutherland) and sophomore Andrew Zabelo (Florham Park, N.J. / Newark Academy) earned the distinction for achieving a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher while competing in at least 70 percent of the team's matches this past spring.

The four Beavers played a significant role in the team's No. 20 national ranking this season. They achieved 10 wins and finished the season as a top-four ranked SCIAC team.

McCandless has been selected as an Academic All-America finalist and will advance to the national ballot, with results to be announced on June 5.
