NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its
2024 Cross Country Academic Awards, and Caltech's Men's and Women's Cross Country teams were represented among the honorees.
Head Coach
Kelli Blake and the Beavers were recognized in both the
Men's and
Women's NCAA Division III Cross Country All-Academic Teams by virtue of maintaining at least a 3.1 team GPA on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers.
Additionally, four Beavers were named NCAA Division III Cross Country All-Academic Athletes by virtue of earning at least a 3.30 GPA on a 4.0 scale and finishing in the top 25 percent at regional championships. Seniors
Rohun Agrawal (Cupertino, Calif. / Monta Vista) and
Miles Jones (San Diego / Rancho Bernardo) earned the distinction for the
Men's team, and Caltech's
Women's team was represented by senior
Sophie Dalfonzo (Fair Haven, N.J. / Biotechnology & Rumson-Fair Regional) and junior
Gigi Pistilli (Portola Valley, Calif. / Woodside).
