Caltech Women's Soccer junior midfielder Ellie Yamada (South Pasadena, Calif. / South Pasadena) earned Second Team All-SCIAC honors for her 2025 season.
"Ellie has been such a big part of the program the past 3 seasons, especially this one with her stepping into the role of captain so well, Head Coach Scott Wilson said. "She worked hard during the off season, led by example in season and I'm so glad she got the recognition her hard work and quality deserves."
Yamada was a critical component of Caltech's stout defensive midfield this season. She started all 14 games for the Beavers and logged 1,157 minutes.
"She provides us with quality on the ball and a drive from midfield, Wilson said. "Her improvements off the ball allow her to cover more areas of the field with greater aggression."
This is the first All-Conference selection of Yamada's career.
"I'm really excited to see how she pushes to drive her performances even further for her senior year," Wilson said.
