LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif. — Senior Elizabeth Field (Charlottesville, Va. / Monticello) and Junior Maya Dickson (Atlanta, Ga. / North Atlanta), recieved SCIAC Women's Water Polo All-Conference honors Thursday morning. 

Field, a goalkeeper, took home the Character Award. The award is given to a senior who exemplifies exceptional sportsmanship through interactions with officials, opponents and across the water polo community.

Field, a three-sport athlete at Caltech, spent the majority of the second half of the season as the Beavers' goalkeeper. In her 16 games played for Caltech this year, Field led the team in all goaltending categories, including saves (56), save percentage (.318%), and goals against average (12.63).

Dickson a utility, earned Second Team All-SCIAC honors. Dickson has had a career year for Caltech, leading the Beavers in goals, (55), points scored (76), steals (67), field blocks (28) and drawn exclusions (30). Not only did Dickson lead the team in those stats, but she also led the SCIAC in field blocks and steals by a large margin.

In 2024, Dickson tallied 41 points on the season, nearly doubling that total in 2025. She also collected 10 hat tricks on the season, including against No. 3 Chapman, in which she scored 10 points with eight goals and two assists.

Head Coach Jonathan Bonafede and his Beavers will look towards 2026 with many key players on the squad returning for the next year, potentially including Dickson, who has a year of eligibility remaining. In the meantime, Caltech will approach the offseason with the goal of improving every day.
