Caltech fell to the Poets of Whittier College on Saturday, 10/4 by a score of 1-3.  The Beavers took an early 1-0 lead on a Tyler Volkoff goal (assisted by Pradeep Hugga) but the Poets managed to tie it up in the first half 1-1.  The second half saw rain and two more Poet goals.  Final score: Whittier 3 - Caltech 1.

On 10/1 the Beavers hosted the visiting Leos from the University of La Verne Leopards today and dropped a tough one by a score of 2-4.  La Verne led at the half by a score of 0-2.

The Beavers head to Pomona-Pitzer on 10/8 for a 4pm game with the Sagehens and then play at Claremont on 10/11 versus the Stags at 11am.
