No. 2 Bulldogs Hand Beavers Defeat

REDLANDS, Calif.  - Playing their fifth straight opponent ranked in the top 10, the Caltech women's water polo team fell to the University of Redlands 21-1. The Bulldogs entered the game ranked second in the nation.

Benefiting from a well-rounded offense and a stingy defense, Redlands amassed an 11-0 halftime lead over the Beavers.

Caltech's goal from Hanna Dodd when the sophomore scored with 5:57 left in the third quarter.

Sophomore driver Lindsey Zehner paced the Bulldogs with four goals. Ten other Bulldogs found the back of the net in the victory, including senior drivers Tory Haynes and Chandler Weeks with two apiece.

Senior goalkeeper Tiana Singley and freshman stopper Julie Lupfer shared time between the pipes, accumulating five and two saves, respectively.

Kati Peters made 12 saves in goal for the Beavers.
