CLAREMONT, Calif. -- The Caltech women's water polo continued their busy early stretch with four-games in two-days at the annual convergence tournament.

La Verne 15, Caltech 3
The Leopards jumped out to an 8-0 lead after the first 16 minutes of action and never looked back in posting the win.
Caltech got goals in the third period by Caitlin Regan and Hanna Dodd. Regan added another tally in the fourth period.
The two SCIAC schools will meet again the final day of regular season on April 21.
Cal State San Bernadino 16, Caltech 5
After Cal State San Bernadino jumped out to a 3-1 lead midway through the first period, The Beavers scored two straight goals to knot the score at 3-3 less than three minutes later.
Unfortately for the Beavers, Cal State San Bernadino scored the next nine goals in taking a commanding 12-3 lead after the first 16 minutes. Caltech scored the first goal of the third period but three of the game's next four goals were scored by Cal State San Bernadino to all but ice the game.
Hanna Dodd posted another hat trick for the Beavers while Misha Raffiee and Kelsey Spaur found the back of the net for the first time this season.
Concordia 16, Caltech 3
Concordia jumped out to a 7-0 edge after the first 16 minutes of action and never looked back in recording the win.They eventually upped their lead to 12-0 before Caltech got on the board on a Hanna Dodd goal.
Caitlin Regan and Janis Intoy each scored for the Beavers.
First-year goalie Connie Hsueh continued her solid play in goal with 13 blocks.
Caltech 13, VMI 11
The Beavers jumped out by scoring the game's first two goals by Dodd and Erin Hoops before the Keys put their first score on the board. A pair of goals by Caitlin Regan helped the Beavers take a 4-2 edge after the first stanza.
Caltech continued their scoring push by posting a 3-0 edge in the second frame on two goals by Dodd and another by Regan.
The five-goal cushion got pushed to six goals by the end of third period as Caltech won the third stanza scoring 4-3. Regan put two on the board while Hoops and Anastasia Markovtsova added a goal each.
VMI made a push in the final period and eventually cut their deficit to 11-7 with just over six minutes left in the period. Caltech scored the next two goals as Hoops scored the final two goals of the period.
Though they were down 13-7 the Keydets continued to press. With 1:09 left they were down 13-9 then got within 13-10 on their next possession. However, Caltech took advantage of the 35 second shot clock and put the game away by giving VMI just one possession left late in the game. The Keydets final goal came with one tick left on the scoreboard.
