CLAREMONT, CA - Facing the defending SCIAC champions on Saturday morning, the Beavers dropped a 14-1 decision to Pomona-Pitzer.

Shalini Majumdar scored her fifth goal of the season for the Beavers. The juniors net finder came midway through the third frame.

Connie Hsueh blocked nine shots in goal for Caltech.

The sister duo of Hope and Carter Grant each scored hat trick to pace the Sagehens.

Caltech's final road contest of the season is on Wednesday evening when they travel to Redlands for a 7 p.m. contest.
