Spaur Finds Back of the Net in Final Road Contest

REDLANDS, CA - Despite a setback to the University of Redlands on Wednesday evening, highlighting the evening for the Beavers was senior Kelsey Spaur.

The native of Highland Ranch, CO has started every game this season for Caltech. Soumya Kannan also scored a goal for the Beavers. Also of note for the Beavers on Wednesday evening was Sasha Zemsky recording her first assist of the season on Spaur's net finder.

While Redlands came away with a 21-2 victory in the Beavers final regular season road contest of the year, Caltech was able to get off 21 shots led by Spaur's eight attempts. Kannan tallied seven shots on goal.

Connie Hsueh made 10 blocks in front of the cage.

On Saturday the Beavers will honor Spaur and Monisha Dilip as the duo is playing their final home game in a Caltech suit as they host Occidental at 11 a.m.
