Early Goals Aids in Cal Lutheran's Victory

PASADENA, CA -A quick start aided in Cal Lutheran's 14-3 win over Caltech in a SCIAC match-up on Wednesday afternoon.

The Regals, who came into the contest ranked fourth in the country, scored five unanswered to start the game.

Cal Lutheran had 11 different players score goals led by Katelyn Dembowski's pair. KC Bendel also tallied two goals.

Soumya Kannan scored twice for the Beavers to up her team leading total to 18. Shalini Majumdar also scored for Caltech.

Connie Hsueh blocked 14 shots in front of the cage for Caltech.

Caltech plays its next two contest on the road beginning with a Saturday contest at Pomona-Pitzer at 11 a.m.
