WHITTIER, Calif. (Oct. 22, 2016) – Senior J.D. Feist (Richardson, Texas / Jesuit Coll. Prep) recorded 13 saves for his 10th game in double figures this season as Caltech men's soccer fell at Whittier College on Saturday.

Three days after setting a new career high in a 16-save performance and a week to the day since he reached 500 career saves, the senior further extended his program record by stopping 13 of 19 shots he faced against the Poets.  Whittier netted its first goal in the seventh minute and doubled the lead in the 12th, then went on to lead 3-0 at halftime and matched that output in the second half for the victory.  Freshman Theo Yang (Columbia, Md. / Long Reach) boasted the Beavers' lone shot on goal.

Head Coach Phil Murray and the Beavers challenge Chapman University (11-4-2, 8-4-2) on Monday, Oct. 24.
