WHITTIER, Calif. (Mar. 13, 2019) – The Caltech women's water polo team competed at third-place Whittier College in Wednesday evening's SCIAC clash.

Senior Katie Johnston (Livermore, Calif. / Livermore) led Caltech with a pair of goals, both of which came in the fourth quarter. Classmate Brittany Percin (Lake Tahoe, Calif. / Stanford Online) also scored for Caltech, but had her multi-game scoring streak snapped at five games. Fellow senior Gemma Takahashi (San Jose, Calif. / Leland) assisted on Percin's successful strike, which came in the second quarter.

Head Coach Jon Bonafede and the Beavers will turn around the very next day to host Connecticut College at 7 p.m., and will be looking for their second win of the season.
