WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (March 11, 2022) - Graduate student Margaret Trautner (Houston, Texas / MIT) of the Caltech women's track and field team has qualified for the Mile event final at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships. Seeded in the seventh position, Trautner finished the prelim race with a time of 5:00.49 and placed 5th both in her heat and overall. The graduate student will return to the track tomorrow and join the Nation's top competitors for the Women's Mile event. Trautner is scheduled to race at 2:30 pm EST / 11:30 am PST.
