GENEVA, Ohio (May 27, 2022) – Caltech women's track team member Margaret Trautner (Houston, Texas / MIT) has qualified for the 800m Run final at the 2022 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track Championships.  

On Thursday afternoon, the graduate student placed 15th in the 1500m Run with a 4:34.29 finish. Although Trautner did not qualify for the 1500m Final, she exhibited perseverance and strength during Friday's 800m Run Prelims. Trautner placed 3rd in her heat and 9th overall in the 800m, crossing the finish line at 2:09.97 and qualifying for the event's final. She will return to the track tomorrow afternoon and join the Nation's top competitors in the 800m Finals, beginning at 1:50 pm EDT (10:50 am PDT).
