PC: Jordan Ostby, Caltech Track and Field

GENEVA, Ohio (May 28, 2022) – Caltech women's track team member Margaret Trautner (Houston, Texas / MIT) finished out the Beavers' outdoor track season on Saturday at the 2022 NCAA Division III Championships. The graduate student ran in the 800m finals, alongside eight other top competitors from around the country. Trautner took 9th place in the event with a 2:10.24 finish, marking her third best time of the season. Overall, Trautner concludes the outdoor track season with two individual school records in the 800m Run (2:08.43) and 1500m Run (4:27.35). She also anchored the 4x400m Relay team at SCIAC Championships and helped break Caltech's long-standing record with a 4:10.95 finish.
